Global Green Group recently acquired the Energy Solutions unit of Hydro Rein, with customers across Canada, Germany and Sweden. Following the acquisition, the business has been renamed Global Green Intelligent Energy.

Nicholas Martin
CEO
Nicholas brings 28 years of energy sector experience, grounded in an MSc/MBA in Energy Management. During his recent tenure at Hydro Rein, he was instrumental in developing the Energy Solutions unit, renewable services behind the meter. His broad expertise spans trading, nat. gas/LNG, ETS, industrial sourcing, and risk management in leading positions in companies such as Hafslund, Alpiq, Rexam and Norsk Hydro.
Ryan Anderson
CFO
Ryan Anderson has 20 years of experience working within power and renewables. Former positions include Head of Commercial and Strategy at Hydro Rein Energy Solutions and Head of Solar, Smartgrid and Storage at one of Norway’s largest consultancies, Multiconsult. He is an economist, Certified Financial Analyst and holds an MBA in Finance.
Simen Brown Svennebye
Operations Director
Simen Brown Svennebye has 20 years experience working with business transformation, large scale projects and technology adoption. Previous positions include Head of Project Management and Asset Operations at Hydro Rein Energy Solutions, Programme Manager Future Technologies at Aggreko and Manager Finance & Performance Management at Ernst & Young. He has a MEngDiplEnt from the University of Strathclyde
Flaviu Joia
Projects Director
Dan Flaviu Joia (Flaviu) has spent more than a decade leading complex industrial automation, OT/IT, and energy programs across Europe and global organizations giving him hands-on experience scaling standards across cultures, factories, and stakeholders. In recent years he has managed industrial battery and energy-solution projects through the full lifecycle—shaping concepts, steering engineering, and construction to deliver bankable, operable assets.
Flaviu is known for building high-performing, multi-disciplinary teams, aligning technical and commercial priorities.
Henrik Siegel
Engineering Director
Henrik Siegel is an electrical engineer, certified electrician and electrical installer (Elektroinstallatør). He has extensive experience in designing, constructing and operating electrical equipment and automation systems such as electrical power distribution-, SCADA-, battery-, power electronics- and EV charging systems. Before joining Global Green Intelligent Energy, Henrik worked both in the field and in leading roles at well‑known companies in the renewable‑energy, e‑mobility and marine sectors, including Hydro Rein, Ionity, Kongsberg Maritime and Rolls-Royce Marine.
